Venu Vardhan Reddy Tekula is a proactive and fast-learning individual with a passion for software development engineering and data analysis. As a Data Detective, he is highly skilled in utilizing his analytical and methodical skills to help companies achieve their business goals while adhering to their vision, mission, and values. Currently, Venu is serving as the GrimoireLab Community Manager at Bitergia, a company that specializes in understanding and improving software development projects. In this role, he has contributed to the creation of an automatic packaging and release workflow for the GrimoireLab toolset, using Bitergia/release-tools, poetry, and GitHub actions. He has also developed CI/CD systems for various Python tools with ELK, Django frameworks, and contributed to some of the main features of the release-tools tool. Additionally, Venu has been involved in mentoring, on-boarding, and dissemination activities around GrimoireLab. Prior to his current role, Venu worked as a Backend Developer at Bitergia, where he gained valuable experience in software engineering. Venu's passion for data analysis and software development led him to work as a Summer Research Student at Ben-Gurion University of the Negev, where he worked on the research project of BGU Cyber Labs, Phishing Detection for one month as a part of the Data Mining and Cyber Security Summer School Program. Venu holds a Bachelor of Technology in Computer Science and Engineering from Amrita University, Amritapuri Campus, and has completed a Summer School program in Data Mining and Business Intelligence with applications in Cyber Security from Ben-Gurion University of the Negev. With over 3 years of relevant experience in Backend, Software Engineering, CI/CD, Python, and Django, Venu is a highly skilled and motivated professional who is always eager to learn and grow.
